Okay, we admit it, the West Midlands Police & Crime Commissioner elections may not be at the top of the agenda when it comes to young people who may even have an interest in politics but crime is a massive issue to young people across the region, from gangs to public transport so it's important the West Midlands youth have an opportunity to hold David Jamieson accountable on the decisions he makes.

So that is what we did.

How we did it

In 2016 Civify Activist Micheal Dunlop interviewed all of the candidates standing in the West Midlands Police & Crime Commissioner election - he asked a range of questions collated by social media and Youth Councils in the region.

One year one Christina Webley sat down with the eventual winner of that election to press him on progress from his answers in the first interview and where we are in 2017.
